I have a sales background of 15 years, partnered with a total of 30 years in negotiating multi-million dollar contracts for a large Canadian Corporation. This is what I cut my teeth on and my spring board to investing in real estate. The "Win - Win" approach still holds true today. I am your catalyst, bringing people together with the real estate investment of their dreams for themselves and their family.

To become a more informed investor, I studied real estate at the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business. Not to my surprise, offers to act on behalf of people looking for investments in real estate developed. Deciding to be a Realtor® was an obvious next step.

Moving from North Vancouver where I grew up and raised my family, to one of the most beautiful Gulf Islands, Gabriola, I couldn't have made a better choice. Gabriola is full of diversities. I am your Community Connection for Gabriola Island. Involved in the Chamber of Commerce, and our Visitor Centre, I have answered a myriad of questions on the what, where, when, why, and how of most everything here on Gabriola. Social Co-ordinator for our Newcomers Club is a great opportunity to meet and learn both on and off Gabriola. I am a member of the Gabriola Lions, an fundraising club on Gabriola where we have been integral in providing for our new medical clinic. Helping build our new Lions site has put us on web presence world-wide. For fun, I love my garden and so the Garden Club is a wealth of information in the form of speakers to open garden tours and to the name that weed, contest. The ocean calls me. It is the scent, the waves and constant change. Several years ago, I became a member of the Canadian Power Squadron. While growing up in North Vancouver, Martin Marine is where I saw a different life on the water. One day, my row boat and I will challenge the depths, sextant in one hand and GPS in the other.

One of many passions, I love to write. You will find many of my penned articles and stories under "My Word". What started in a real estate bent has turned a corner and now I write for the humour in all of us. Hope you enjoy.

I live and work here on Gabriola. I love the individuality and diversity of this community, an island, but only a 20 minute ferry ride from the bustling city of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. And, only a 20 minute flight from the city of Vancouver.
